Zester has no tact, ofc he’s going to be looked down on. You would think with the new wealth, land, and people he has been given, he would have at least educated himself about what it’s like to be a noble. It’s honestly embarrassing and down right shameful that his wife has to take on all of the political responsibilities. She is the only reason why Greze is thriving (both in the past and currently). I’m so tired of him acting like an insecure little child who knows nothing of the world when is a literal war hero.

I GET YOUR FRUSTRATION BUT he was born and raised a commoner… even vita that b**** from the beginning was ‘above’ him at one point… old habits are hard to break… it just goes to show he ‘knew his place’ well when he grew up. Suddenly changing status must be shocking, and since everyone is trying to take advantage of him nobody could really teach him… ex: that man who made his wife a hostage to save himself, he gave zester such a low ball offer even his aide (butler???) was like… ‘you SHOULD be paying him more” bc zester has no concept of money any amount seems high to him bc its money commoners likely wouldnt see in a lifetime…
I understand you’re frustrated but give him SOME grace. Everyone he grew up with probably always spoke frankly… These nobles grew up speaking that way so it comes naturally
His insecurity is kinda annoying but think about if that lady the fl gave a ring for financial aid suddenly became a noble tommorow??? shed be eaten alive!!!! he is naive and had a very different background, so I’m not surprised he’s slow on the uptake

If we weigh their value as a noble rightful of their title, I’d say, Zester’s title outweighs theirs ‘coz unlike them who only inherited the title, Zester earned his title with blood, sweat and tears (BTS style lol)
