I don’t really understand why their kingdom is even entertaining the idea of sending Gratia to a foreign kingdom that weirdly demanded the presence of a child for trade talks. Like…its so unbelievably sketchy, and regardless of the kingdom’s internal political factions, Gratia is undoubtedly a valuable resource for the kingdom. They even acknowledge that the request itself was insulting. If this foreign kingdom is curious about Gratia, then why not ask if their diplomats can visit her? If the other kingdom is willing to damage business talks with an insult to try to force Gratia to come to their kingdom, it can only be because they want her to be at their mercy. Don’t do it.
