She isn’t being idiotic she is traumatized and honestly thinks the only reason someone would love her is because of her curse. So she wants nothing to do with him because she doesn’t think he actually can ever love her or can keep her safe because of all the trauma and agony her life has brought her.
She is acting how someone who has been broken by the world would act.
