If they based their personality on the original, Tybalt is far from the villain he was portrayed as. He is beyond loyal to his family, the only reason he hated the Montagues was because of that same loyalty. I see him as that over protective older brother type. Even in the original play Juliet mourned his death which meant his true nature was not evil.
