I mean, he slapped her like women slap each other all the time in these series. I don’t see a problem with it that much. There is a culture difference, and the meaning of it goes far beyond what you’re seeing it as. He was a victim too. she viciously manipulated him because she considered him dumb. Also, the man barely hit her. He could have easily sent her flying if he was trying to hurt her. It’s a story, and there’s nuance and reason behind it aside from its purpose being abuse and her getting her ‘comeuppance’.
