They have cars already? Then why are they still using carriages?

it’s probably the start of the industrial revolution (in Europe) and at the time only a selected few had cars, mostly rich (like a duke)

Yeah, it wasn’t until Ford (I think, could be a different company lol) started using a method of mass production that made them much cheaper to buy. They only had like, 1 (or was it 4?) model though, and only in black (I think) so other companies started doing the same but with more variations, thus making cars far more popular because of capitalism. The first car was a “ Benz Patent Motor Car” (according to google)
