God I see this chapter went over all of your heads. The Princess has been heavily abused and forced to be perfect all of her life. She feels the need to be perfect and to look perfect even when she isn’t. To her Penelope seems like someone who pities her and doesn’t see her has “perfect” which in turn angers her. She isn’t acting like a b**** just to be one, it’s been rooted in her head for so long that she feels like she’ll be hated if she isn’t. You guys must truly understand a character before you go calling her a “b****” like she was just born that way.
