lets be very clear here: fl is a victim in this relationship. even if this fictional story is romanticizing her abuse, its not unheard of for irl victims to become strongly attached & dependent on their abusers. in fact, this is VERY COMMON. she is a representation of a very real & complex issue! so if youre gonna call her stupid or trash for it, yall need to STFU ASAP. idaf how frustrating you find her behavior. you need to understand that although the author is trying to make what shes going through look romantic, the scenario theyve created is accidentally accurate to real life abusive relationships. it also puts into perspective how it becomes so difficult for people to leave their abusive spouses. dont ever degrade a victim- not even a fictional character.
