Wow. Seeing her as a child really puts the abuse in perspective. I know the count abused her, but seeing some kind of personality from her as a child when she barely lets herself feel anything now was eye opening. I hope we get that Valetta back. And I hope the Duke can help both of them. She and the wizard have no concept of normalcy or a gauge for basic human decency.
I really hope green hairs dude can bring that light back to her a bit and help her realize kindness can simply be something from someone’s heart. I also hope she treats the kid better too. I feel like she’s a bit cold hearted to him.
