In my opinion, what the mom did wasn’t cool at all. Every parent, except the grandma, seems like they’re just lazy. You’re telling me you raised both daughters ‘poor,’ but for a while, they didn’t even know that wasn’t their real daughter? Did the sons get the same treatment? And what lesson is that supposed to teach? It’s like, ‘I’m too lazy to actually teach you humility, so here, enjoy all the perks of being rich, but I’ll tell you we’re poor.’ What? And even if they were doing everything to suffer, hardship doesn’t automatically lead to moral growth. And let’s not forget, FL is a transmigrant. What kind of life did she live before to believe such a blatant lie?!
