I have a feeling that this might have been a translation issue. Like – perhaps in the original language she was asking for one thing but it could be interpreted a couple different ways and obviously the emperor heard it the sexual way instead of the more innocent way? Like, maybe instead of saying “I want you” it might have also meant “I want your essence/influence/thing”. Because I’m thinking that while she’s a bit dumb that she’s not THAT dumb. I’m betting this phrase was just not something that could be translated well into English.
