since when is he thinking for himself??? he only realized how awful the chasing after her (only on her family’s part!!!!!) was AFTER he saw her getting shot at! that’s at the very least extremely stupid taking into consideration how hard everyone (including him and his damn temple) was trying to corner her. after PUBLICLY KILLING HER AND THEN SHAMELESSLY RESSURECTING HER!!!! what part of all that mess makes you see him as “somewhat thinking for himself”?! He’s just trying to corner and capture her exactly like family is.

You’re living in your own delusion, are you? He’s never cornered her. He’s genuinely looking out for her. He’s perusing her because to him she’s a saint. A holy figure of his believe. It’s like the jesus would pop up suddenly.. Do you think the Vatican wouldn’t send their people to make sure he’s safe and protected? And what would a true believer do? Certainly not be okay with others shooting him..

Shooting her would be an extreme act of heresy by the churches standards they have displayed thus far. Interesting to see if that factors in later.
