Doctor’s usually use a form of shorthand when writing in a similar manner to that of journalists, instead of writing out entire letters different symbols of one to three lines are used so most other doctors would be able to understand it but we regular folk don’t, we could understand it if we learnt it. So it’s more that the letters we usually use take too much time to write out so they use shorthand to be able to write quicker.

My handwriting for quick notes is horrible. My mom said it’s because my brain is thinking much faster than what my hands can keep up with. same logic applies to stuttering over my words.

As a Pharm Tech, I can confirm that some of the dr’s writing is SO bad that even when I ask the Pharmacist, we still have to call the dr for clarification bc wtf who can read those scribbles 😑 Sometimes even the nurse can’t read it

I also read somewhere before that their brain process too much information that their hands couldn’t keep up . And that they write too much from studying and researching. I think she just got too excited to answer those 2 easiest questions that her handwriting became that unreadable lol
