Verta/Berta is a bit of a sociopath. Not that I can blame her. Only thing that I am not too fond of is manipulating totally innocent people for your revenge.

At the very end of this novel, I hope that everyone, including Verta/Berta has received a punishment equal to their crimes. While revenge is a form of justice, that still does not make anything acceptable, especially if it involves innocent people.

Oh well, after meeting men who are too forward and who’re always touching or grabbing her, Blaine included; I think it’s her first time encountering a guy who’s as shy, and as innocent as this prince who obviously fancies her but would rather keep it to himself. It’d be no surprise if she’ll find this guy amusing and more interesting. Still though, I don’t think he can handle both his good and bad side unlike Blaine but we’ll see…
Also, she’s a great employer! She knows when to give bonuses to those who works extra mile for her.
