Nope. If their mom was sent to Coldan’s mother, then she wouldn’t had given birth to Ray and Hayes, since no one’s allowed to leave that mansion. Ray’s grandfather was the only one who had left that mansion. I bet he forgot about their deal until their family went bankrupt and he thought both of his grand children would get help from the Colden , guy he met before

I don’t think that’s how it went. @vickyyyyluvsyou I think what happened was that the daughter didn’t go to Coldan. So the curse just passed on and the mother died, and eventually got to her.
