Tbh, I hate when authors make characters stupid like in the case of this FL.
She could simply tell him everything, it is apparent that he would forgive her all of it and continue living their lives without any disturbance.
But noooo, authors need to pad the story and make it frustrating to read. It is not clever, it is stupid and frustrating because readers just want to skip all of it since it doesn’t add anything worthy to the story.
