So the ml and fl kinda work i guess. He may have not bothered with aris if it wasn’t for the FL, but the FL has a cruel/calculating streak in herself too, so maybe she will be ok with that. Of course i think being OK with your abusers dying and allowing a child to be abused are totally on the opposite ends of the spectrum, but as long as the ml and FL can make it work, more power to them

i mean. i feel like it should be expected that the FL has a cruel side to her. for one, almost everyone does over the course of their lives. for another, she learned how to be cruel from the best (her own abusive cruel family)
