idk man, I wouldn’t feel too peachy if my entire country had just been completely ravaged/destroyed, and then being expected to marry one of the men responsible. I’d be “rude” too in this situtation.
The og FL was a very wounded, angry person, for very good reasons and we shouldn’t be blaming her when the ML throws a 4-year long hissy fit because she didn’t fall in love with him. They barely knew each other and he just assumed he deserved her affections because he kept throwing gifts at her and closing himself off when it didn’t work, rather than actually taking the time to understand her situation and treat her accordingly.
To add to this, he clearly did not actually love her for anything other than her looks given that he seems more than happy to have her replaced by a new person in the same body, it makes his original “feelings” look incredibly disingenuous
Anywho, getting off my soap box, sorry to put this on your comment, it just has been bubbling beneath the surface over the past 8 chapters (only 8 chapters in and I’m already this tight, wow)

Damn couldn’t agree more.. ORIGINAL irwin was mistreated so much that I kinda feel very bad for her and then they tag her as evil wife just because she’s loyal to her country. Even her husband treated her like an trophy wife and then he wondered why she’s not reciprocating his feelings. How hypocrite of all of them!
