I mean to be fair, her personality is probably so rotten because of how her parents raised her. The author can’t really put that on DNA, peoples around you shape you from young age. It could be possible that the grandmother was involved in this the most. Still the parents and even school played big role in it as well.
No matter how you see it, at least FL adoptive parents didn’t raise her to be much spoiled (well, maybe a little).
