Everyone saying they’d die of embarrassment makes me realize that the fact I would be calm, not fully comfortable, reading something like that to someone out loud is not all that normal. Like I’m pretty sure I have, some guy who was a classmate of mine years back saw me reading something on ao3 while at school and tried to bully me by making fun of it and saying I should only read stuff I’m okay with reading aloud while in school and so I did, we weren’t really in a secluded area so he just got super embarrassed and asked me to stop I did not stop right away made him suffer through it for a while. He never really tried to target me again, would even go quite and avoid eye contact, I think he learned something from that. Never target the quite kid in class, we’re just tired and don’t wanna deal with talking to others so if you try something you’ll be meet with the attitude of someone who just could not care less.
