What was the point in her hiding the fact that that psycho poisoned her? Let me guess, she “didn’t want him to worry.” Her fingers could fall off and she’d still insist on keeping it a secret for no reason

So she was going to either let her fingers rot off or die?!?!?! I can’t- i just, I can’t. I can’t keep reading this. She made this whole thing about not repeating the past and acting like she was going to be a new her and she literally has no backbone. There’s literally no excuse to not speak up and say you were poisoned. Could’ve actually used this to get rid of that viper and instead she keeps acting like the damsel in distress. At this point I’m done. Imma skip ahead and see what happens or find spoilers but I can’t keep reading something 16 chapters in and she has no growth or development whatsoever.
