What a weak character she is, her maid has more of a spine than her. Are we gonna have to watch her pout her way through this story? She won’t even PRETEND to be unaffected by that idiot’s taunts, which gives her plenty of ammunition in the future since she knows she’ll blindly believe everything she tells her and won’t say two words in her defense. What did she even COME for if she can’t even handle some annoying troll and manufacture a relationship between her and the king that’s not even happening? All she does is stand there and sulk. PLEASE tell me there’s some character development down the road

I am curious to see how this will go. She is gentle, maybe too gentle, but….. I don’t think it is too bad… It stands with her past since she was even more gentle then. Since it is drawn it is hard to show how much time has passed and what happened in between. It shows a contrast of how different she is from the others. It is nice to see a gentle version of this trope. While I love the ladies who stand up for themselves, it is nice to see this gentle trope but without the extreme version of trauma that happens. Sometimes the gentle ones get a bit too extreme on the trauma side. I won’t expect character development, I think this is how she is supposed to be. While it would be nice to see her grow a spine, it is also nice to see this timid side…… without the extreme trauma, sometimes that gets too much.
