It’s official. I hate Elias. how dare he bitch about his own family that too in public? he doesn’t even know how much burden she and Jeremy have to carry in order for him to even go round with no care in the world. he does nothing to protect her when he heard the rumours, but instead he believed those rumours and harmed his own family just because he thinks he’s not loved. That’s pathetic. well, what else do I expect from him?

wdym? he absolutely knows that’s why he feels inferior. he thought that he could help them a bit through gambling. because he doesn’t really have other way of helping them. he soon realised that’s not the case and he fucked up, but because he already felt inferior and because he didn’t want them to worry, he tried to hide it and solve it himself which wasn’t working out. after they find out, he’s embarrassed, ashamed and disgusted at himself and all of that is not easy to admit. he lashed out because his feelings got to him. what he did, wasn’t right and he did a lot of mistakes but he was coming from a good place.

Him feeling inferior or neglected and jealous towards his brother doesn’t justify him slandering his supposedly step mother who suffered for his well being and his brother who loves him to death. How dare he believe the rumors and try to make it sound reasonable that Jeremy loves shuri in an inappropriate manner. Like Wtf Elias needs to grow up and stop making us hate his character. Okay he is a child and ok his feelings were hurt but literally after everyone lecturing him and making it clear he is wrong if doesn’t fixes himself the author should make something against him 😑

Elias’ friends are to blame here.
While he has his things to work on, having thoughts of leaving, his “friends” pulled him into this, got tricked for money/chips, pulled deeper by smooth tongues of the staff, and well played by Lucas. His “friends” then spurred him on by using his insecurities against him. Yes, he needs to work on himself. Addiction to attention, praise, gambling, insecurities within the family, being lonely for affection, not having a strong enough connection to open up because of bickering and sappy feelings.
Thankfully his brother can rein him in and help ground him.
I hope your heart opens, Elias. Hands are reaching out for you, just don’t hesitate to take them.
