Im so hooked!!! It’s so frustrating that this manga doesn’t update more when it’s my favourite!!! I look forward to updates all the time and constantly check to see when the next one will be posted. I with they would update at least two chapters at a time. I know it’s so much work making each chapter and they’re always so good and worth the wait! But it’s still so frustrating only having one at a time, I feel staved. Please update more 🥺🙏 or at least more frequently, this is TORTURE

I think they mean how Camilla and Ravi are the Duke’s stepchildren. Their mother married him. Which is also why that lady Camilla yanked the hair of called her a “fake lady”, because she wasn’t born into nobility.
Then again, nurture does play a part so that could be where the Duke is coming from with those lines, seeing as he very much seem to see his stepchildren as his own.

I love that, at least Camilla´s family wasnt abussive because thats how they are, its because since the souls were swapped she felt wrong, like your inmune sistem when you have allergy, its over reacting but its reacting so something that shouldnt be there. When the souls went back to where they were supposed to be it wasnt only Camilla who changed because it was a entirely different person, but also that feeling of rejection what vanished. With the right soul in the right place her family loving her comes very naturaly, even with Ludville. She doesnt try to get him to like her, he is not her biological brother so she doesnt feel that need to be good to her kin nor is her the duke, her the duke a powerful figure that its better to have on your side. She you can see when he comes back BEFORE he notices that she has changed he tries to switch plates with her cause he knows that the maids bully her, Ludville always has wanted to be close with his little sister. If Dorman handt make a mess and switched the souls of the girls neither Camilla nor OG Camilla would have suffered like that.
